The green film on the north side of a Halfmoon house isn't dirt. It's living algae, fed by Hudson Valley humidity and long shoulder seasons, and rinsing it off the surface just resets the clock for about eight weeks.
Halfmoon is mostly newer construction — vinyl and Hardie siding through Halfmoon Crossing, Grooms Rd, and the Route 9 corridor — plus older riverfront homes down toward Crescent and Vischer Ferry that take the brunt of the Mohawk humidity.
Our soft wash applies professional detergents at lower pressure than a garden hose, kills the growth at the root, then rinses everything clean — siding, soffits, gutters' exteriors, trim, and shutters. Results last three to five times longer than a pressure-only wash.
